I adore food. For as long as I can remember food has been a central part of my life and most of my major decisions revolve around where I am eating my next meal. Washington’s food scene has changed dramatically over the past few years and we now have many gems that can hold their own to some of the best restaurants in the world. It’s an exciting time to live in the nation’s capital as the culinary scene is expanding daily.
I love exploring the D.C. food scene and normally make it to new restaurants within the first week of their opening. I also love to travel so I try to infuse some recommendations from other locations every once in awhile. I am really passionate about good food experiences and I love to share my excitement with others. Thanks for coming along on the ride with me!
Favorite Foods: Pasta, brussels sprouts, mussels, cheese, lamb, tiramisu, my Mom’s brisket, and anything coffee flavored.
Favorite Drinks: California Chardonnay’s, Pinot Noir’s from the Willamette Valley, and Champagne. I also love a nice bottle of Chianti Classico.
The Best Thing I Ever Ate: The pear and cheese ravioli at Coquinarius in Florence, Italy. It’s the most divine combination. I also regularly dream about the pasta with morels and cream from L’Avenue in Paris.
